DBPro, short for Dark Basic Pro, is an easy to use BASIC derived programming language with the game maker in mind.  It is produced and released by The Game Creators, link here, with a large, dedicated community, and growing.  The Dark Basic programming language started with Dark Basic Classic, Dark Basic at the time.  When the limitations of Direct X 7 begin to weigh in, they released DBPro, which uses Direct X 9, which allows shaders and many other features to be used.  For the price, DBPro allows as much power any indie game creators could want.
